Neighbourly Pharmacy is hiring a full-time Pharmacist to join our amazing Pharmasave team in Swift Current, SK. We are looking for a clinically minded pharmacist interested in expanding their scope of practice in our Pharmacist Led Clinic. The Pharmacist Led Clinic allows pharmacists to enhance patient care offerings through independent pharmacist assessment and prescribing for chronic disease management.

Patient Focused Care Responsibilities:
We are looking for an ambitious clinically minded Pharmacist to join our team. You will be responsible for dispensing, collaborative drug therapy management and providing outstanding patient care for patients in the Pharmacist Led Clinic and dispensary.
• Participation in the Pharmacist Led Clinic, including providing consultations for chronic disease management, optimizing medication therapy through pharmacist prescribing and ordering and evaluating laboratory tests
• Accurately perform dispensing functions
• Determine the appropriateness of medication therapy
• Answer questions from patients and provide recommendations on medications, OTC products and vitamins
• Develop and action care plans and assess the results of recommendations
• Focus on clinical services (i.e medication reviews, minor ailment prescribing)
• Maintain accurate documentation on patient medical records
• Administer and provide education on vaccines and other injections
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Work in a fast-paced environment efficiently and calmly, using excellent time management and organizational skills
Additional Skills
• Excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical therapy
• Hands-on experience with direct patient care
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of computers and drug prescription software
• Problem-solving mindset
• Patient-oriented personality
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Injection Certification required
