Certified Pharmacy Tech – In-Patient Pharmacy

Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital, stand-alone, not-for-profit hospital located in Ste. Genevieve, MO that focuses on personalized care. Our 25-inpatient bed facility is a Medicare 4-star rated and is ranked in the top 1% nationally for Patient Safety, Quality, and Efficiency. What to expect as a Pharmacy Tech:

• Establish excellent customer service, pay attention to detail, communicate, and have computer skills.
• Stock the medication supply machines throughout the facility.
• Help to ensure safe medication use by checking outdates, ensuring medications are in stock and ordered in a timely manner.
• Help manage medication shortages.
• Make sure drugs are stored and secured correctly.

Requirements

• High School or equivalent required.
• Licensed/Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy required.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
• Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred.
