St. Mary’s is a local, independent healthcare organization with a proud 120-year tradition of providing quality, compassionate care to New York’s Fulton-Montgomery region. Our 1,400+ team members share a passion for excellence, a commitment to our community, and a fundamental belief that a career in healthcare is life changing for patients and providers alike.
Our supportive environment encourages input, creativity, and collaboration. This combination enables us to attract and retain talented individuals who embrace opportunities to better serve our rural community. As a result, in addition to inpatient care at our 130-bed hospital, we offer a robust array of outpatient services where our community needs them most—close to home.
These include but are not limited to primary care and pediatrics; urgent and emergency care; general and minimally invasive (including robotic) surgery; oncology/cancer care; behavioral health and addiction medicine; obstetrics and gynecology; otolaryngology (ENT); gastroenterology; podiatry; infusion therapy; sports medicine, physiatry, and rehabilitation services; and a headache center. We even have a community pharmacy to make it as easy as possible for patients to obtain their medication. And we’re adding pulmonology and a sleep center.
In keeping with the mission of our founders, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, St. Mary’s pays special attention to the poor and underserved. We remain committed to meeting the spiritual, social, emotional, and physical needs of our patients and to providing the necessary resources—within and outside the workplace—to take great care of our St. Mary’s family.
