The Animal Hospital and Pet Resort at Southwood is looking for a compassionate, dependable Pet Care Attendant to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys staying active, loves working with animals, and takes pride in creating a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for every patient in our care.

Our Pet Care Attendants are an essential part of our hospital. From providing daily care and comfort to hospitalized and boarding pets to supporting our doctors and technicians behind the scenes, you'll play an important role in helping us deliver exceptional care every single day.

What Our Pet Care Attendants Do

  • Feed, walk, exercise, and provide daily care for hospitalized and boarding pets
  • Clean and disinfect cages, runs, treatment areas, and hospital equipment
  • Monitor patients for changes in behavior or health and report concerns to the medical team
  • Administer oral medications as directed by the veterinarians
  • Maintain accurate treatment records and daily care logs
  • Assist technicians and veterinarians with patient care as needed
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe hospital environment
  • Ensure every patient receives compassionate care and attention throughout their stay
