Position Details

• Role: Animal Care Provider
• Status: Part-time
• Salary: From $17.50 per hour
• Schedule: Monday 9:30-6:30 pm, Wednesday 2-6:30 pm, Thursday 2-6:30 pm, Possible Saturday

Join Hawks Prairie Veterinary Hospital as a full-time Pet Care Attendant! This position is perfect for someone who loves animals and wants to gain experience in a pet-care environment. You'll be helping to ensure a clean and safe space for our furry guests while interacting with pets and their owners during our evening/closing shift.

Pet Care Attendant Responsibilities

• Care for and supervise animals, including feeding, walking, and providing companionship.
• Clean and sanitize animal areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
• Assist with animal check-ins and check-outs.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners.
• Lift and manage supplies, equipment, and pets as needed (must be able to lift up to 50 pounds easily).
• Ensure the kennel is ready for closing at the end of the shift.
