Position DetailsRole: Veterinary Assistant Status: Full-time Salary: Negotiable and based on experience Schedule: Weekday morning and afternoon shifts with 2–3 weekend kennel shifts per month

What You'll Do

  • Assist veterinarians and technicians during examinations and treatments
  • Properly restrain patients using safe, compassionate handling techniques
  • Perform in-house laboratory testing
  • Bathe and provide basic grooming care for hospitalized and boarding pets
  • Feed, walk, and monitor hospitalized and boarding animals
  • Clean and disinfect kennels, treatment areas, and hospital equipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized hospital environment
  • Assist the medical team wherever needed to provide outstanding patient care
  • Support teammates to help maintain an efficient daily workflow
