Position Details

• Role: Kennel Attendant
• Status: Part-Time
• Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
• Schedule: 25 hours per week, including 2 weekends a month and rotating Holidays

Mars Hill Animal Hospital is seeking a Full-time Kennel Attendant to join our dedicated team. If you love animals, enjoy staying active, and take pride in providing exceptional care, we'd love to meet you.

Our Kennel Attendants play a vital role in supporting both our hospital and boarding patients by ensuring they receive attentive care in a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. This position is ideal for someone who understands the responsibility of caring for animals and enjoys being part of a team dedicated to outstanding patient care.

What You’ll Do

• Walk and exercise boarding and hospitalized dogs
• Feed and monitor pets staying in the hospital and kennel
• Clean and sanitize dog runs, cages, cat enclosures, and animal care areas
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the hospital and kennel facilities
• Assist with laundry and housekeeping duties
• Bathe pets as needed
• Safely assist with patient restraint for medical procedures
• Receive orders and restock hospital inventory and supplies
• Monitor patient behavior and report concerns to the veterinary team
• Help ensure every pet receives attentive and compassionate care

• Availability for rotating weekends and some holiday shifts
• Previous animal care experience is a plus, but not required
