Ascenza is the crop Protection branch, a benchmark independent player in the off-patented South-European, Brazilian and Mexican markets, with a leading position in Iberia.

Mission:

As part of Ascenza's Pesticide Residue Laboratory, this position will be responsible for preparing and processing samples, performing tests, and quality controls in accordance with internal rules and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process test samples and ensure their preservation;
• Perform tests and quality controls according to defined methodologies, as well as their respective records;
• Ensure the preparatory analysis of samples from different sources;
• Perform solution and reagent preparation operations;
• Perform volumetric and gravimetric analyses;
• Record raw data obtained during studies in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices;
• Report all incidents during test sample preparation;
• Receive, check, record, and manage laboratory products and ensure equipment maintenance and cleaning.

The talent we're looking for:

• 12th grade in a Professional Technical Course in the area of Chemistry or equivalent;
• Professional experience in similar roles
• Good English skills (spoken and written);
• Computer literacy from a user's perspective (Excel, Word, etc.);
• Good organizational skills, a sense of responsibility and dynamism;
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
