Pest Control Technician

We're looking for an experienced and customer-focused Pest Control Technician to join our growing team, covering Lancaster, Cumbria, Blackpool and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified pest management professional looking for a varied role where you can work independently, build strong customer relationships and make a real difference to both residential and commercial customers.

The Role

As a Pest Control Technician, you'll be responsible for protecting homes and businesses from a wide range of pest-related issues.

No two days will be the same. You'll work across residential, commercial and industrial environments, carrying out inspections, identifying pest activity, delivering effective treatments and providing customers with practical advice to prevent problems from returning.

Your role will include a combination of planned service visits and reactive call-outs, using a range of traditional and modern pest management techniques to deliver effective, professional solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out thorough pest inspections and identifying appropriate treatment solutions.
• Delivering effective pest control treatments using both chemical and non-chemical methods.
• Installing, monitoring and maintaining pest control equipment and monitoring systems.
• Investigating the root causes of pest infestations and identifying preventative measures.
• Providing customers with clear, professional advice and recommendations.
• Building strong and lasting relationships with customers.
• Managing your own workload and planned service schedule effectively.
• Completing accurate digital service reports and maintaining customer records.
• Carrying out follow-up visits to monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with Health & Safety requirements and industry standards.
• Representing the business professionally on every customer visit.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is experienced, professional and passionate about delivering a high standard of pest management and customer service.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience working within the pest control industry.
• RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management or an equivalent industry qualification.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to identify practical solutions.
• The confidence to work independently and manage your own workload.
• A proactive, professional and reliable approach.
• A full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
