Ready to take your pest control career to the next level?

If you're an experienced Pest Control Technician who takes pride in delivering a high-quality, professional service, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

At Check Services, we provide specialist Pest Management solutions to some of the UK's leading food manufacturing businesses. That means you'll work in technically challenging environments including flour mills, industrial bakeries and large-scale food production facilities, where attention to detail, technical knowledge and professionalism really matter. No two days are the same, and you'll be trusted to use your expertise to identify problems, find solutions and help customers prevent pest issues before they become a bigger problem.

The Role

As a Pest Control Technician, you'll manage a portfolio of food manufacturing customers across North/West London, delivering a consistently high standard of pest management and customer service.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Carrying out scheduled pest inspections, monitoring and treatments.
  • Identifying pest activity, risks and potential entry points.
  • Providing customers with practical preventative pest management solutions.
  • Producing accurate digital service reports and technical recommendations.
  • Building strong, long-term relationships with customers.
  • Working closely with customers to understand their individual pest management requirements.
  • Maintaining exceptional standards of health, safety, hygiene and compliance.
  • Working within highly regulated food manufacturing environments.
  • Managing your own workload and appointments effectively.
  • Representing Check Services professionally at every customer site.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a technician who doesn't simply want to tick jobs off a schedule.

You should take pride in your work, enjoy solving problems and understand the importance of providing a genuinely outstanding service to customers.

You'll need:

  • Minimum 1 year's experience as a Pest Control Technician.
  • RSPH Level 2 Award/Certificate or BPCA Level 2 in Pest Management.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving pest issues.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • A professional approach when working with customers.

Experience working within food manufacturing or other highly regulated environments would be advantageous, but isn't essential.

More Than Just a Technician Role

Working with food manufacturing customers means you'll encounter some of the most technically demanding pest management challenges in the industry.

You'll continually develop your knowledge and experience while working alongside a team that understands the importance of doing things properly.

We’re committed to investing in our people, with ongoing training, support and development available to help you build your expertise and progress your career.

We're also keen to develop the right person along the Field Biologist training route, providing the opportunity to broaden your technical knowledge and build additional expertise within the industry. If you're ambitious and have the interest and potential to progress in this area, we'll support you in developing the skills and experience needed to take that next step.

If you're ambitious, technically minded and want to become one of the best technicians in the industry, we'll give you the support and environment to do it.

What You'll Get

  • £31,000 basic salary
  • £3,000 London Weighting Allowance
  • Overtime opportunities
  • Commission scheme
  • Company vehicle
  • Ongoing training and development
  • Opportunity to work with some of the UK's leading food manufacturing businesses
  • A varied and technically challenging role
  • Long-term career development
  • The opportunity to build strong customer relationships and become a trusted technical partner
