About the role
We’re seeking an enthusiastic and Pest Control Assistant to join the Southern NSW Grain Protection team, based from our Goolgowi site.
Reporting to the Grain Protection Supervisor, this role involves travelling to sites across the region to support Pest Control Officers in delivering a wide range of pest control and fumigation activities. These procedures are critical to ensuring grain is stored and transported free from infestation and meets required quality standards.
You will also be responsible for completing general hygiene and cleanliness activities across our sites, maintaining a consistently high standard.
About your experience
This position offers an excellent entry point and learning platform into a rewarding technical trade. Applicants with experience in general labouring, trades and services, or building and construction will be well suited to this role; however we are open minded and welcome candidates from a broad range of backgrounds. An unrestricted drivers licence is preferred, though applicants with a provisional licence will also be considered.
A willingness to travel and spend short periods away from home is essential.
