Looking for a practical, outdoor role with real career progression?

We're looking for a motivated and hands-on Pest & Bird Control Technician to join our growing team.

Whether you're starting your career, looking for a change, or simply want a role where you're out and about rather than behind a desk, this could be the opportunity for you.

No previous pest control experience is required. We'll provide full training, ongoing mentoring and support you in achieving your RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management, giving you a recognised industry qualification and a clear pathway to becoming a fully qualified technician.

If you're practical, enjoy problem-solving, like working outdoors and take pride in providing great customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

With full training and support, you'll learn to:

  • Deliver professional pest and bird control services across a variety of customer sites.
  • Carry out inspections and identify signs of pest activity.
  • Assist with treatment plans and bird deterrent installations.
  • Monitor sites and accurately record and report your findings.
  • Provide a friendly and professional service to customers.
  • Develop the skills and confidence to work independently across your region.
  • Attend regular team meetings, training sessions and development days.

No two days will be the same. You'll work across a mixture of residential, commercial and industrial sites, gaining valuable experience across different environments and pest control challenges.

Training & Career Development

We don't just offer you a job, we'll help you build a career.

You'll receive:

  • Structured, hands-on training from experienced technicians.
  • Full support to achieve your RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management.
  • Ongoing mentoring and guidance.
  • Regular 1-to-1s and performance reviews.
  • A clear progression pathway towards becoming a fully qualified Pest & Bird Control Technician.
  • Ongoing opportunities to develop your skills and gain further qualifications.

What you'll receive

  • Salary from £27,500 per annum
  • Company van
  • Fuel & expense card
  • Company tablet
  • 20 days' holiday plus public holidays
  • Regular 1-to-1s and career development planning
  • Ongoing training and qualifications
  • Supportive, team-focused working environment
  • Recognition for great performance

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Reliable, motivated and eager to learn.
  • Practical and comfortable with hands-on, outdoor work.
  • Safety-conscious with good attention to detail.
  • Friendly and confident when speaking with customers.
  • Organised and able to manage your time effectively.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
  • Interested in wildlife, nature or environmental work.
  • Keen to develop a long-term career within a specialist industry.

A full UK driving licence is essential.

Ready to build your future?

If you're looking for more than just a job and want to build a long-term career with recognised qualifications, training and genuine progression opportunities, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
