Accountabilities:

The Back-End Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend solutions, ensuring code quality, system reliability, and alignment with technical standards. The role involves collaboration with engineering teams, participation in architecture discussions, and continuous improvement of products and processes.

Develop and maintain REST APIs to support product evolution and new features.
Ensure code quality through unit tests and integration tests.
Participate in solution design discussions and technical architecture decisions.
Contribute to code reviews, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices.
Support deployment processes and follow applications through production environments.
Work collaboratively with different teams to deliver complete and efficient solutions.
Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and engineering processes.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate has professional experience in back-end development, strong programming fundamentals, and experience building APIs and reliable software solutions. The role requires technical autonomy, collaboration skills, and a mindset focused on continuous learning.

Previous experience working as a mid-level Back-End Developer.
Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
Knowledge of object-oriented and/or functional programming paradigms.
Experience with Micronaut or Spring frameworks.
Experience with Micronaut Data or Hibernate.
Knowledge of unit testing and integration testing practices.
Experience working with relational databases.
Familiarity with Kotlin, Java, C#, or other JVM-based languages is a plus.
Experience with asynchronous messaging technologies such as Kafka, Azure, or RabbitMQ is desirable.
Knowledge of TDD practices, API documentation tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI, and REST API best practices.
Familiarity with SOLID principles, DRY practices, Hexagonal Architecture, monitoring tools, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and GitHub Actions is a plus.
Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases.
Ability to learn continuously and work independently.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with different areas.
Resilience, adaptability, and end-to-end product thinking.
