We are currently seeking a Personalization Programmer to join our team in a remote setting.

Your Role at Batesville:

As a Personalization Programmer, you will be responsible for receiving orders for Options Products (urns), designing personalization using various computer applications, seeking approval through customer contact and authorizing production of the personalized product.

  • The expected pay for this role is $17.26- $23.00 per hour. Actual compensation within this range may be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, skills, experience, and location.

What You’ll Do:

  • Receive orders via JD Edwards (JDE) computer system.
  • Verify orders for correct spellings and proper fit through direct customer contact.
  • Efficiently be able to create/modify/correct personalization design using various software applications, such as Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop, Gravostyle and PhotoGrav.
  • Obtain design approval through customer verification process.
  • Release orders to CSC Urn Warehouse locations for production using JDE software.
  • Interact and communicate with Batesville-based Options associates and Options customers.
  • Maintain all daily reports and reporting.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

What You’ll Bring:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of 24 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of company standard internet, database software, Corel Draw 10, Adobe Photoshop, Gravostyle and Photograv.
  • Work a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a team setting.

Nice to Haves:

  • Able to show attention to detail, make quality judgments and solve customer issues.
  • Should also have strong verbal (both in person and on the phone) and written communication skills.
