Job Description

State of Location:

VirginiaImprove client athletic performance, reduce injuries, and teach lifelong fitness and movement skills.

Communicate with members interested in training and assessing their needs to build an appropriate and customized program based on their goals and desires.

Remain people-oriented and focused on the true needs of clients to provide the best kind of care and growth.

Ensure you are familiar with the memberships and classes offered on site and clinic operations.

Establish and maintain a strength and conditioning program for all clients, devising training plans according to scientific principle and based on the needs of their physical capabilities.

Keep an organized and clean workout space that appropriately serves our facility and represents Ivy Rehab professionally.

Maintain a professional image when representing Ivy Rehab – in the gym or at community functions.

Follow policies, procedures, and plans for safe and professional operation of the facility.

Position Qualifications:

  • Certification for personal training (A.C.E., N.A.S.M., etc.).

  • Active CPR certification.

  • Liability insurance through Ivy Rehab or personally acquired

  • Knowledge of fitness equipment and machines.

  • Dedication to exceptional patient care experience and customer service.

  • Outstanding time management and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Self-motivated with a drive to exceed patient expectations.

  • Flexibility to work varied shifts and possible weekends
