Job Description

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team in Van Buren Township, MI. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Assist with medication reminders and basic health care tasks as directed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for clients.
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with team members and clients' families.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal support or caregiving is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks.
