Job Description

We are working closely with local authority in Nottinghamshire to assist with the appointment of a Personal Support Assistant, on a 6.5-months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

The Personal Support Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient delivery of services within the Customer, Complaints & Information function. The role supports managers and teams by coordinating administrative activities, maintaining accurate records, handling communications, and contributing to the smooth operation of customer-focused services. The post holder will maintain confidentiality, provide excellent customer service, and ensure administrative processes are completed effectively and in line with organisational procedures and policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and clerical support to managers and team members within the department.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and manual filing systems, records, databases, and information management systems.
  • Prepare, format, and process documents, reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and meeting notes as required.
  • Support document management, record keeping, and administrative compliance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies, procedures, safeguarding responsibilities, equality standards, and health and safety requirements.

Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics, or relevant administrative qualification

Essentials

  • Experience providing administrative, clerical, or office support in a professional environment.
  • Experience maintaining records, databases, and handling confidential information accurately.

  • You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
  • You should have right to work in U.K
