Job Description

We have Picker/Personal Shopper/Merchandiser position available. Locations are in Queens & Brooklyn. Must have reliable transportation to get between locations.

Responsibilities include ensuring distribution and proper merchandising of our top selling brands at the point of sale at the purchasing locations.

The right person for this position has a professional attitude and approach to dealing with clients, sales teams, and distributors.

Essential Functions:

  • Previous experience with order picking
    • picking orders (picker)
    • Educating customers on consumer goods products(personal shopper)
    • Receive orders from Sales Team, pull products, place on U-boat
    • Ability to organize allocated section and storage of loaded U-boats
    • Team work mentality, outgoing and great personality
    • Exceptional Time Management skills, Excellent Communication skills and Organizational Skills Required
    • Technologically up to date
    • Maintaining product on shelves and proper inventory of what is available, sold, etc.
    • Maintaining database of products
    • Valid Driver's License with proof of Auto Insurance and reliable transportation is a Requirement

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED

Work Experience Requirements:

  • One-year experience in dealing with the public at the retail sales level preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

  • Be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Be able to push/pull up to 80 pounds
  • Have a valid driver’s license and must be able to drive a car for extended periods of time.
  • Be able to effectively communicate with others. Must have good vision and be able to operate a calculator, telephone, copier, hand truck, hammer, and screwdriver and case cutter.
  • Be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time. Must be able to comfortably interact with the public.
  • Have professional appearance & demeanor.
  • Be familiar with Excel and Word.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Be able to comfortably interact with the public.
