Personal Injury Discovery Clerk

Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00 / hour

We are a prominent and growing Personal Injury Law Firm in Newport Beach and are seeking highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individuals to join our litigation department as a Legal Discovery Clerk.

The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for detail, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment. This role is ideal for law students with full time work availability or post-bar clerks - discovery experience is required.

Responsibilities:

• Propounding and responding to written discovery.
• Drafting meet and confer letters, notice of deposition, and various documents related to litigation discovery.
• Provide support to attorneys, including contacting clients, calendaring events, reviewing materials, and drafting correspondence.

Qualifications:

• Prior work experience at a personal injury law firm is highly preferred, but we will consider other areas of law.
• Prior experience with written discovery is required.
• Strong writing skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and handle a high volume of work.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and complete tasks on time.
• Spanish speaking is a plus but not required.
