Personal Injury Attorney

- Case Evaluation & Client Consultation:
- Meet with potential clients to assess their cases.
- Provide legal advice and outline possible courses of action.
- Legal Research & Case Preparation:
- Investigate accident reports, medical records, and witness statements.
- Gather and analyze evidence to build a strong case.
- Consult with medical experts, accident reconstruction specialists, and other professionals.
- Negotiation & Settlement:
- Negotiate with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
- Seek to maximize settlement amounts before proceeding to trial.
- Litigation & Court Representation:
- Draft legal documents (complaints, motions, & discovery requests).
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and depositions.
- Present arguments, question witnesses, and advocate on behalf of clients.
- Client Communication & Case Management:
- Keep clients informed about case progress and legal strategies.
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously while deadlines are met.
Qualifications
- Education & Licensing:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the relevant state of New York
- Experience in personal injury law preferred. (Plaintiff side only)
