About the Role

An excellent opportunity exists for Personal Care Workers to join our team at Parkdale Aged Care in both permanent part time and casual capacities.

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and thrive in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

For our permanent part time positions, we are looking for candidates who can commit to a set fortnightly roster of 30–40 hours per fortnight (minimum 3 shifts per week), with a mixture of AM and PM weekday shifts.

For our casual positions, we are looking for candidates who are flexible and available to pick up shifts as required across the roster.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality personal care to residents
• Support resident wellbeing within a team environment
• Follow RN In Charge directives
• Maintain confidentiality and professional standards
• Work independently within your scope of practice

Qualifications and Experience

• Certificate III in Individual Support (required)
• Minimum 1 year of aged care experience (required)
• Strong communication skills and a positive, self-motivated attitude
• Knowledge of relevant aged care legislation
• Understanding of Aged Care Accreditation Standards

Requirements

• Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Australian working rights (required)
• Flu vaccination and COVID-19 vaccination/boosters (highly desirable)
