Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities of a Personal Care Homemaker:

Personal Care Assistance: Help with bathing, dressing, shampooing, hair care, denture care, shaving (electric razor only), eating, mobility, and transfers (following Elders Affairs’ Personal Care Guidelines).
Household Support: Aid with light housekeeping tasks, such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, dishwashing, and cleaning kitchens and bathrooms. Assist with laundry, bed changes, and menu planning, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
Errands and Essential Needs: Pick up prescriptions and handle other necessary errands as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Paid Personal Care Homemaker training program
Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
