We’re now looking for passionate Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our dedicated team at The Haven in Wagga Wagga. This is more than just a job in aged care. We offer a variety of morning, afternoon and night shifts across the week, giving you flexibility while being part of a supportive and caring team.
As a valued member of our team, you’ll help create a safe, welcoming and home-like environment while supporting our residents to live with dignity and independence. Your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting residents with personal care, including showering and dressing
• Supporting day-to-day activities such as meals, social activities and daily routines
• Working closely with our clinical team to ensure care plans are followed
• Maintaining accurate documentation and working collaboratively to support residents’ health and wellbeing
• Building positive relationships with residents, families and the wider community
• Providing compassionate, high-quality care that makes a real difference
We’re looking for people who genuinely care about others and take pride in making a difference. To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
• A Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent)
• Preference will be given to PCAs who have completed medication-competency training as part of their Certificate III or Certificate IV studies
• A kind heart and genuine passion for providing exceptional care to older people
• Confidence interacting with people from a wide variety of backgrounds
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A reliable, positive and collaborative approach to teamwork
• An understanding of workplace health and safety
• A willingness to obtain a Police Check and NDIS clearance
