PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT
Location: Norristown, PA
Status: Full time
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8 to 430, every other weekend

Position Purpose:
This role impacts participants lives by providing essential personal care services and health support.
Position Details:
$2500 sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment paid in 3 installments. Role includes both home care and facility work.
What you will do:
Conduct ongoing participant assessments and monitoring.
Provide assistance with daily activities, including toileting, grooming, and meals.
Aid in maintaining physical activity and exercise routines.
Identify safety hazards and respond to emergencies.
Assist with recreational activities, meal service, and housekeeping.
Report any changes in participant's condition to center staff.
Escort participants to appointments and assist with transportation.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience working with a frail or elderly population or if less than one (1) year of experience, must receive appropriate training from the PACE organization upon hiring.
Preferred experience in long-term care or geriatric programs.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Valid driver's license, insurance and use of personal vehicle.
Ability to work independently and adapt to change.
Some travel within the region may be required.
