Description & Requirements
Introduction:
We are looking for a proactive Personal Assistant / Accountant to support Group-level senior management, combining both executive/administrative and finance duties (approximately 50% each). The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
In this role, you’ll get to:
Executive and Administrative Support
- Provide comprehensive support to senior management, including calendar management, meeting and travel coordination, and acting as a main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, reports, and briefings
- Coordinate with property managers, tenants, and vendors on rental operations and lease documentation
- Manage confidential information with utmost discretion
- Oversee daily workflow and handle ad hoc administrative tasks and special projects
Finance and Accounts Support
- Assist with payments, accounts management, month-end closing, and routine tax filings
- Prepare consolidated and standalone financial statements
- Maintain accounting records, statutory filings, and ensure compliance for Hong Kong and offshore entities (e.g., BVI)
- Liaise with registered agents, accounting/CPA firms, tax authorities, investment banks and law firms, and manage compliance and process improvements
- Document and implement standard operating procedures for finance processes and internal controls
What you'll Need to Succeed:
· Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting or Finance, HKICPA or equivalent qualification preferred
- 6+ years of relevant experience, ideally in multinational companies; exposure to financial institutions, private equity, hedge funds, or family offices is a plus
- Experience with full sets of accounts, consolidated financial statements, and international tax compliance, particularly for offshore entities
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills; experience with major accounting/ERP systems
- Excellent written and verbal English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
- High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Strong communication, coordination, and time management skills
