The Provincial Enablement Graduate Programme within Standard Bank Connect is a structured development initiative focused on building capability in provincial enablement. The programme is designed to develop high-potential graduates who can effectively translate national strategy into consistent, high-quality execution at a branch level.

Through this programme, graduates gain practical exposure to campaign delivery, training enablement, and sales readiness across provinces. The focus is on ensuring that frontline teams are well prepared, informed, and aligned to Standard Bank Connect product priorities and strategic objectives.

Role Purpose

The purpose of the Graduate Specialist in Provincial Enablement is to support the planning, coordination, and execution of enablement initiatives across provinces. The role ensures that frontline teams are sales-ready, equipped with the necessary knowledge and aligned to national campaigns.

Graduates will work closely with Provincial Enablement Specialists and Physical Sales and Distribution leadership to support campaign execution, training rollout, and sales performance tracking. The role also involves strengthening feedback loops between branches, provinces, and national Standard Bank Connect teams to drive continuous alignment and improvement.

This graduate programme is developmental in nature and is designed to build core capability in enablement, analytics, and stakeholder management. It equips graduates to transition into specialist roles within Provincial Enablement, contributing to improved sales effectiveness and operational excellence across Standard Bank Connect.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery and coordination of provincial enablement initiatives to ensure alignment between national strategy and branch-level execution.
  • Assist Provincial Enablement Specialists in driving consistency and quality across frontline activities.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of national campaigns within provinces, ensuring effective localisation, and adoption.
  • Support campaign readiness by ensuring that frontline teams have access to the required tools, communication, and guidance.
  • Coordinate training rollout across provinces, including scheduling, communication, and logistics.
  • Monitor and track training adoption to ensure that frontline teams are adequately equipped with product knowledge and sales capability.
  • Provide feedback on training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the preparation of sales and performance reports at a provincial level.
  • Analyse performance trends to identify gaps, opportunities, and areas requiring targeted intervention.
  • Contribute insights that support sales effectiveness and improved business outcomes.
  • Oversee Provincial and national stakeholder coordination.
  • Collaborate with provincial teams, national enablement, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment, and effective execution.
  • Facilitate communication and feedback loops between branches, provinces, and national teams.
  • Support stakeholder engagement activities to drive collaboration and shared accountability.

Qualifications

Completed Undergraduate within 2 years or Postgraduate qualification (recently completed or completing in 2026):

Commerce or business-related degree:

  • Economics
  • Business Management
  • Marketing and Communications
  • Information Systems

Additional Information

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a South African citizen.
  • Should you have work experience, it should not exceed 12 months.
  • Full academic transcripts to be submitted with application for undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
