Permitting Coordinator

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

About the Role

We are seeking a Permitting Coordinator to support the planning, preparation, and submission of permits required for major utility and infrastructure projects. This role will work closely with engineering teams, consultants, utility providers, and government authorities to ensure timely permit approvals and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the preparation and submission of permit applications to relevant Saudi regulatory authorities.
• Maintain permitting schedules, approval trackers, and compliance registers.
• Identify permit requirements for utility infrastructure, including power, water, wastewater, telecommunications, and road networks.
• Monitor permit progress and coordinate responses to authority comments and information requests.
• Liaise with engineering, environmental, and project teams to gather documentation required for permit submissions.
• Support engagement with government agencies, utility providers, and other stakeholders.
• Identify permitting risks and support mitigation strategies to minimize project impacts.
• Prepare regular permitting status updates for project leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in permitting, infrastructure, utilities, mining, industrial, or major capital projects.
• Experience working with Saudi regulatory authorities and utility providers is preferred.
• Understanding of permitting processes, environmental regulations, and infrastructure development requirements.
• Strong coordination, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills are an asset.

Office Location

Riyadh

Sunday to Thursday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
