Job Title
Permit Analyst
The Permit Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining permits, licenses, property tax records, and compliance-related work for the company's operations. The role ensures permits and licenses are renewed on time, property tax deadlines are met, records are maintained, and regulatory requirements are complied with.
Key Responsibilities
Permits & Licensing
- Monitor permit and license expiry dates and ensure timely renewals.
- Prepare, submit, and track permit and license applications and renewals.
- Maintain permit and license records.
- Ensure hard copies of permits and licenses are received and properly filed.
Regulatory Coordination
- Communicate with City, County, and other government agencies regarding permits and licenses.
- Respond to permit-related queries and resolve issues with regulatory authorities.
- Receive and coordinate the resolution of violations and notices issued to company locations.
Property Tax Administration
- Manage property tax records and ensure deadlines are met.
- Coordinate timely mailing of property tax payments.
- Maintain property tax records and supporting documents.
- Handle notices received from Tax Departments and ensure timely follow-up.
Compliance Administration
- Coordinate compliance-related matters with landlords, government agencies, and internal departments.
- Respond to compliance-related requests, notices, and documentation requirements.
- Maintain compliance records and ensure required documents are submitted on time.
Records Management & Reporting
- Maintain organized electronic and physical records.
- Prepare reports on permits, licenses, property taxes, and compliance matters.
- Provide documentation for internal audits when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
