The Permit Receiver is responsible for ensuring that all work activities within the shutdown project are executed safely and in strict compliance with the Permit to Work (PTW) system, company policies, and regulatory requirements. This role involves obtaining, reviewing, and adhering to all necessary permits before the commencement of any high-risk activities in petrochemical and refinery environments.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Obtain, review, and validate all required work permits before initiating tasks.

  • Ensure all permits comply with ARAMCO and project-specific safety regulations.

  • Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and safety officers to maintain safe work practices.

  • Verify that all work areas are prepared according to the permit conditions prior to starting operations.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of all permits during the project lifecycle.

  • Conduct regular checks to ensure continuous compliance with safety and PTW requirements.

  • Stop or escalate any work that deviates from approved permits or safety standards.

  • Support shutdown project teams in mitigating risks and ensuring timely completion of work.

Requirements

  1. Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering disciplines.

  2. Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Permit Receiver in petrochemical/refinery shutdown projects.

  3. Certification: Valid ARAMCO Permit Receiver Certification (mandatory).

  4. Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of PTW systems and safety regulations.

    • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

    • Attention to detail and ability to handle high-pressure shutdown environments.

    • Proficiency in documentation and reporting.

  5. Other Requirements:

    • Willingness to work in dynamic and challenging field environments.

    • Commitment to upholding all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
