Recruitment Consultant – Accountancy & Finance

Location: Manchester
Permanent | Full-time

This is a fantastic opportunity to build and develop a specialist desk within a high-demand professional market, supported by an established brand, market-leading tools, and a strong local and national client base.

What you’ll be doing

As a Recruitment Consultant on our Accountancy & Finance desk, you will take full ownership of the recruitment process, including:

• Managing a 360-recruitment role, developing new and existing client relationships across the Manchester region

• Recruiting for roles such as Part-Qualified, Qualified, Finance Managers, Financial Controllers, and transactional finance positions

• Proactively developing new business through networking, market mapping, and client visits

• Sourcing candidates using Reed’s market-leading database, job boards, LinkedIn, and headhunting

• Interviewing, assessing, and matching candidates to client opportunities

• Managing offer processes, negotiations, and onboarding

• Delivering an excellent service to both clients and candidates, building long-term partnerships

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience in recruitment, sales or business development

• An interest in or knowledge of accountancy and finance recruitment

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• A proactive, resilient, and target-driven mindset

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
