Permanent SENDCo – Haringey

Location: Haringey

Contract: Permanent

Pay: £45,000–£60,000 per year PAYE

The opportunity

Senovo is recruiting a Permanent SENDCo for a specialist SEN education setting in Haringey. The successful candidate will join a committed team focused on helping children and young people access learning, develop confidence and make meaningful progress.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons matched to pupils’ individual needs.
• Adapt teaching, resources and assessment to support EHCP outcomes and measurable progress.
• Create a safe, structured classroom with consistent routines and high expectations.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, families and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate records and uphold excellent safeguarding practice.

What we are looking for

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Relevant teaching experience, ideally within SEND or an inclusive setting.
• Strong curriculum knowledge and the ability to differentiate effectively.
• Useful experience includes EHCP coordination, inclusion, QTS, SEND Code of Practice, SEND leadership.
• Clear communication, professional judgement and a child-centred approach.
