Bupa Greenacre is a modern care home set in the southwest of Sydney. You’ll be close to the local community with neighbouring schools, parks and a shopping centre nearby. It consists of 138 beds, with a variety of care units. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.

About The Role: As a Maintenance Officer you will be responsible for the delivery of a high standard of property services, including repairs and maintenance, to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for our residents.

This is a permanent part-time position 2 days/week role

Duties

Provide repairs and maintenance support to the care home across a wide scope of activities including:

• Identify and carry out preventative maintenance, repair and improvement works to the building, grounds and equipment in-line with the Maintenance Schedules
• Ensure the physical environment for residents is in line with their preferences and is neat, comfortable, safe and hazard free
• Landscaping and garden maintenance; general repairs and waste removal
• Oversee, maintain, assess and provide recommendations on replacement of assets if, and as required
• Assist in the management of Property Services projects
• Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety and Property Services Quality Assurance procedures

Skills and Experience

• Formal qualifications; and/or Relevant skills training or experience
• Experience in Property Maintenance and Building Works
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in Occupational Health and Safety
• The ability to solve problems independently
