Wh at You’ll Do

  • Provides support in various Perioperative Services areas based on staffing and departmental needs.
  • Serves as an Endoscopy Technician when assigned, including preparing procedure rooms, stocking supplies, assisting with room turnover, and cleaning and processing equipment according to established procedures.
  • Provides Unit Clerk/clerical coverage as needed, including answering phones, coordinating communication, maintaining records, and assisting with scheduling and patient flow.
  • Assists Sterile Processing with cleaning, decontamination, preparation, packaging, sterilization, storage, and distribution of instruments and supplies after completing required training and competency validation.
  • Stocks and maintains supplies, equipment, and work areas throughout Perioperative Services.
  • Assists with transporting supplies, equipment, specimens, and other items as directed.
  • Maintains clean, organized, and safe work areas and follows infection prevention and safety procedures.
  • Provides professional and courteous service to patients, families, visitors, providers, and coworkers.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Completes required training and maintains competency for all assigned duties.
  • Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned

Who We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as an Endoscopy Technician, Sterile Processing Technician, Surgical Services Technician, or Unit Clerk is beneficial.
  • Healthcare-related education or training preferred.
  • Must have a current American Heart Association approved BLS card upon hire and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.

What We Offer
Our total rewards package includes

  • Pay Range: $22.07 - $27.55/hour (based on experience)
  • Shift Differentials: $2–$4/hour for nights and weekends
  • PRN Differential: 10% differential in addition to base rate salary

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
