Perioperative Nursing Project Coordinator - Full Time - Bronson Battle Creek
The Perioperative Nursing Project Coordinator (PNPC) provides dedicated project management, quality improvement, regulatory readiness, and professional practice support for Surgical Services. This role partners with perioperative leadership, frontline teams, physicians, anesthesia, infection prevention, quality, regulatory, and interdisciplinary stakeholders to coordinate, implement, monitor, and sustain initiatives that improve patient safety, operational performance, staff engagement, patient experience, and accreditation readiness.
The coordinator is responsible for supporting Surgical Services projects from planning through execution, including development of project timelines, data tracking, performance reporting, action planning, follow-up, and evaluation of outcomes. This role supports perioperative quality and safety initiatives, including surgical site infection reduction, first-case on-time starts, turnover improvement, OR utilization, block utilization, patient experience, regulatory readiness, Pathway to Excellence, Magnet-related evidence, shared governance, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
