Job DetailsJob Location: Saint Albans, VT 05478Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $21.00 - $23.00 HourlyThe Parent Child Center of Northwestern Counseling & Support Services is seeking an energetic professional to join our HEART Perinatal Support Team! The Perinatal Support Specialist works with parents in the postpartum period (up to 12 months after birth) to provide support around increasing wellness in the home and promoting a healthy attachment. Home visiting services consist of providing support in a variety of ways, including providing information around infant development, promoting opportunities for parent/child interactions, and light household support related to infant care.
This position includes daily travel (with mileage reimbursement), opportunities for professional development, home visiting, and support from a committed team at NCSS. QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Education, Human Services, Early Childhood, Counseling or a related field.Experience working with families, children, infants, and individuals in the perinatal period.
