The Behavioral Health Clinician PD, carries out the mission of the Perinatal Depression Program (to identify and support women and families at risk for perinatal mood disorders) by responding to calls received by the 866-364-MOMS hotline, providing emotional support, assessing the status of the caller, and developing a joint plan for intervention and initiating outreach calls to patients who have scored in the depressed range on the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale, completing a psychosocial assessment of the patient, and developing a joint action plan.
Results of this activity to be reported to the director and/or the coordinator of the program.
Education: Masters Degree or Doctorate in Mental Health Services Required
Certifications: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or LSW - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Required OR
Advanced Practice Nurse Controlled Substance (APNCS) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Advanced Practice Nurse Required OR
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or LPC - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) OR
