  Operate and monitor cardiopulmonary bypass machines and other extracorporeal circulation equipment during cardiac surgeries.

  Manage blood flow, oxygenation, and temperature regulation to maintain patient stability during surgical procedures.
  
• 
  Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, and operating room staff.
  
• 
  Prepare, calibrate, and maintain perfusion equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes during procedures.
  
• 
  Handle blood conservation techniques, hemodilution, and anticoagulation management.
  
• 
  Document procedures and maintain accurate records in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
  
• 
  Stay updated on latest perfusion techniques, safety protocols, and medical advancements.
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality assurance policies.
  

Requirements

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in Perfusion Technology or a related medical field.
  
• 
  Valid certification/license in Perfusion (UAE DOH/DHA/MOH or eligibility to obtain one).
  
• 
  Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience as a Perfusionist in a hospital or cardiac surgical setting.
  
• 
  In-depth knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and extracorporeal circulation.
  
• 
  Strong technical and troubleshooting skills with perfusion equipment.
  
• 
  Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure surgical environments.
  
• 
  Excellent teamwork, communication, and patient-care skills.
