Do you love the performing arts and working with kids? The YMCA of the North Shore is hiring Performing Arts Instructors for our Specialty Creative Arts Camps this summer!
We are especially seeking instructors with experience or interest in:

Lead or assist engaging, age-appropriate creative arts classes and workshops
Support skill-building, creativity, and self-expression in a positive environment
Prepare materials and assist with setup and cleanup of creative spaces
Ensure a safe, organized, and welcoming program environment
Communicate and collaborate with program staff and families
Make a meaningful impact through creative, mission-driven work
Build leadership and teaching experience

Experience instructing or assisting in creative or performing arts programs preferred
Experience working with children or youth in a structured setting strongly preferred
Ability to demonstrate and teach artistic techniques at an age-appropriate level
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage participants positively
Must obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid certifications
Flexible availability, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends as scheduled
Ability to demonstrate skills physically and provide clear verbal instruction
Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies up to 40 pounds
Ability to stand or sit while remaining alert for extended periods
Position requires bending, kneeling, walking, and navigating uneven surfaces
Ability to communicate clearly and respond effectively in emergency situations
