JOB PURPOSE:
To conduct system performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity and scalability. In addition to work with testing team to develop performance test plans and cases, analyse test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes.
JOB DESCRIBTION:
Evaluate Non-Functional Requirement documents and identify performance test needs; types of tests,
scripting scenarios, volume projections, etc. to aggregate business and technical requirements into
quality Systems and Services.
2. Coordinate and collaborate with multiple groups to determine, gather and verify performance test
needs
3. Develop workload simulation matrix , test scripts and test execution scenarios for various types of tests
such as load, stress, duration/endurance, and run tests to ensure system requirements are met.
4. Perform heap and thread analysis, database deadlock detection, understand and detect resource
contention, etc to help in identifying the root cause of the issue.
5. Suggest improvements and configuration changes that improve performance to enhance quality.
6. Document test results and develop custom made summary reports to satisfy both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
7. Assist in developing timeline estimates for completing test cycles within project plan to meet projects’
needs and timelines.
8. Create and manage performance test plans and test scripts using industry best practices and
standards to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree of Computer Engineering/Computer science or its equivalent.
6-8 years of progressive IT experience including minimum 2-3 years of performance testing
and engineering experience.
Experience applying extensive technical expertise in the area of performance testing and
advanced scripting.
Experience in developing multi-protocol (web, database etc.) advanced scripts that follow
object oriented framework using HP LoadRunner (Performance Center) /JMeter
Full knowledge of industry standard SDLCs, all phases and types of testing
Able to communicate effectively and accurately progress and status of testing efforts and
present technical approaches and findings.
Strong knowledge and experience with different testing technologies
In depth understand behind the principles of testing with a strong development background
Experience with work with SIT and UAT teams.
Ability to work in complex multiple projects in fast-paced environment
Preferred
- Familiar with Agile development practices

- ISTQB Test-Analyst Certified
