We are now looking for a
Performance & Reward Manager
to join our People & Communications team of great colleagues. This is a 10-monthsfixed‑termassignment due to parental leave.
Purpose
The role supports the full Europe geography and plays a key part in ensuring that KONE’s Reward and Performance frameworks are implemented consistently, effectively and in compliance with local and European regulatory requirements. The role will contribute to Europe’s pay transparency journey, including readiness for the EU Pay Transparency Directive, by supporting pay equity analysis, data governance, process alignment and manager enablement.
A key focus will be to strengthen the use of data and analytics in everyday pay decisions and to embed insights into the Europe Reward strategy.Therole will also support the alignment and continuous improvement of the Sales Incentive framework across Europe, ensuring plans remain business-relevant, competitive, compliant and aligned with KONE’s total reward philosophy.
As a key Europe representative in global Reward and Performance projects, the role will ensure that European market practices, business needs and compliance requirements are reflected in global initiatives, while supporting consistent execution across countries.
Responsibilities
Partner with business and HR leaders across the Europe geography to ensure global Reward and Performance processes — including job evaluation, merit reviews, global bonus schemes, performance management and pay governance — are applied effectively, consistently and in line with KONE’s global frameworks.
Support the implementation and adoption of Reward policies, processes and frameworks across Europe, ensuring they are followed consistently while remaining relevant to local market, legal and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to KONE’s Europe Pay Transparency journey, including readiness for the EU Pay Transparency Directive, by supporting data quality, pay equity analysis, process alignment, governance, manager education and compliance preparation across European countries.
Support the embedding of data and analytics into the Europe Reward strategy, helping to identify risks, opportunities and recommendations related to pay equity, competitiveness, incentive effectiveness, recognition, benefits and performance outcomes.
Provide guidance and support to managers, HR colleagues and employees on queries relating to Reward, recognition, incentives, employee benefits and performance management.
Support the alignment, governance and continuous improvement of the Sales Incentive framework across Europe, working with relevant stakeholders to ensure plans are effective, consistent, business-aligned and compliant with applicable policies and principles.
Participatingin global Reward and Performance projects as a key Europe representative, ensuring European business needs, regulatory requirements, market practices and stakeholder perspectives are considered in global design and implementation.
Manage ongoing relationships with external consultants and suppliers, ensuring service standards are met and that external insights, benchmarking and market intelligence are leveraged effectively for Europe Reward activities.
