Job Description

Build better healthcare together

Maple’s purpose is to meet the world's healthcare needs. We’re Canada's leading on-demand healthcare platform, connecting patients with Canadian-licensed doctors, nurse practitioners and specialists. Today, we’re proud that over 8 million patients and 7,000 businesses and government partners have access to same-day, proactive and ongoing care. We enable people to take control of their health and push the boundaries of what’s possible every day.

Bold minds. Big impact. A career at Maple is about making an impact. We empower bold thinking, surround you with an inspiring team and are driven by a motivating purpose. Here, you’ll do work that changes lives—including your own.

The role

We're looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to own the day-to-day management, execution and optimization of paid acquisition campaigns while supporting organic acquisition through search engine optimization (SEO), answer engine optimization (AEO) and generative engine optimization (GEO). Performance marketing is a key driver of acquisition and revenue growth at Maple, and this role will help us manage investment effectively, improve performance and identify opportunities for efficient growth.

In this role, you'll manage core paid media channels, use data and experimentation to improve conversion and media efficiency, and partner with performance marketing leadership and cross-functional teams. You'll help us identify and scale what works across audiences, creative and campaign strategies, while balancing acquisition volume with customer acquisition cost efficiency.

Your responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day management, execution and optimization of paid acquisition campaigns across core paid media channels.
  • Build and maintain campaign structures, bidding strategies, targeting and budget allocation across Google Ads and Meta Ads.
  • Manage meaningful paid media budgets with accountability for customer acquisition cost (CAC), conversion rates and revenue outcomes.
  • Use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), reporting platforms and performance data to monitor results, surface insights and recommend next steps.
  • Develop and run structured A/B tests across channels, audiences, creative and campaign strategies, translating results into practical improvements.
  • Use artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze performance data and optimize campaign performance.
  • Support organic growth through search engine optimization (SEO), answer engine optimization (AEO) and generative engine optimization (GEO).
  • Establish a consistent reporting and performance review cadence, and identify opportunities to scale high-performing campaigns and acquisition opportunities.
  • Partner with performance marketing leadership and cross-functional teams to support growth across Maple's consumer and specialty care offerings.

What success looks like

In your first 90 days, you'll build a clear understanding of Maple's paid and organic acquisition strategies, target audiences, performance benchmarks and growth objectives. You'll take ownership of day-to-day campaign management across core paid media channels, establish budget pacing and performance monitoring routines, assess existing campaigns for efficiency and conversion opportunities, and set a consistent reporting cadence with clear insights and next steps.

Over your first 12–18 months, you'll deliver against paid acquisition targets while supporting organic growth and balancing volume with CAC efficiency. You'll build a structured experimentation program across channels, audiences, creative and campaign strategies; scale what works; and improve media efficiency through ongoing optimization of bidding, campaign structure, targeting and budget allocation. Your work will support revenue growth, new memberships and booked assessments, with success reflected in acquisition volume, conversion rates, CAC efficiency and revenue contribution.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience, ideally in a high-growth, consumer-focused business.
  • Deep expertise in Google Ads and Meta Ads, including campaign structure, bidding, optimization and measurement.
  • Experience managing meaningful paid media budgets with accountability for CAC, conversion rates and revenue outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive organic growth through SEO, AEO and GEO.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with GA4, reporting platforms and performance measurement.
  • Experience using AI to analyze performance data and optimize performance.
  • Experience developing and executing structured A/B tests and translating results into actionable improvements.
  • You're proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with subscription businesses is a plus.

How we'll support you

About Maple

Patients can securely text, audio, or video chat with a Canadian-licensed doctor for diagnosis, treatment, and prescriptions. We also offer a wide variety of specialties such as dermatology, endocrinology, and mental health therapy, which can be booked in under 72 hours.

Incorporated in 2015, Maple has been operating in Canada since late 2016. We initially launched in Ontario and now offer services in every province and territory of Canada.

About our vision

Maple is defined by three words — simple, connected, and human.

It should be simple to access healthcare. That’s why we created a platform that’s easy to use for Canadians of all ages, abilities, and technology education levels.

Healthcare should be connected. We believe that in the future, the majority of wellness and medical care interactions will occur digitally. Our vision is to have Maple be the primary vehicle for healthcare providers to deliver patient care. Maple is on its way to becoming an open-source system to facilitate wellness and care encounters. Maple boasts a streamlined user experience, integrated digital health record keeping, and tools for continuity of care within Canada’s broader healthcare system.

The human aspect of medicine should never be forgotten. Our healthcare providers are passionate about what they do, and are dedicated to improving patients’ lives with each virtual care visit.

About our team

We’re a tightly-knit group of people who are committed to improving the lives of others. We have an ambitious vision, and we’re excited for our team to continue growing.
