Our client is a growing organization focused on scaling customer acquisition and maximizing customer value through an integrated performance marketing strategy. As the company continues to strengthen its paid acquisition and lifecycle marketing programs, they are seeking a Performance Marketing Lead to take hands-on ownership of paid media, Email, SMS, conversion optimization, and performance measurement.
The Performance Marketing Lead will own customer acquisition across paid channels while managing the company's core Email and SMS marketing programs. This role combines performance strategy with hands-on execution across SEM, paid social, retargeting, lifecycle marketing, CRO, testing, and reporting.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Performance Marketing Lead will serve as the go-to expert for performance marketing while collaborating with Content and Social teams on creative needs, offers, budgets, and campaign execution.
The ideal candidate is a data-driven marketer who can independently build, launch, analyze, and optimize campaigns while making informed decisions around budget allocation, customer acquisition costs, conversion performance, and lifecycle engagement.

Build, launch, optimize, and scale paid acquisition campaigns across SEM, paid social, and retargeting channels.
Manage Google Ads and paid social platforms such as Meta and TikTok.
Develop campaigns aligned with customer acquisition and revenue goals.
Monitor campaign performance and continuously identify optimization opportunities.
Test and refine creative, audiences, keywords, offers, and other campaign variables.
Scale successful campaigns while maintaining efficient acquisition performance.
Manage daily and weekly paid media budget pacing.
Analyze performance data and recommend budget reallocations based on campaign results.
Identify opportunities to increase or reduce spend across channels and campaigns.
Monitor CPA, CAC, conversion rates, and other acquisition metrics.
Make data-driven decisions around campaign scaling and optimization.
Balance growth objectives with acquisition efficiency.
Develop and execute a landing page testing roadmap.
Design structured A/B tests across creative, audiences, keywords, offers, and landing pages.
Analyze testing results and apply learnings to future campaigns.
Identify friction points and opportunities to improve conversion rates.
Maintain a disciplined testing approach designed to continuously improve acquisition performance.
Own and optimize core automated lifecycle flows across Email and SMS.
Maintain key sequences including Welcome, Abandoned Cart/Checkout, Post-Purchase, and Winback/Sunset flows.
Draft, build, and deploy Email and SMS campaigns supporting promotions, product launches, and company announcements.
Tailor Email and SMS messaging according to each channel's role within the customer journey.
Manage SMS messaging and frequency with consideration for urgency, opt-in behavior, engagement, and list fatigue.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve lifecycle performance and customer value.
Monitor Email and SMS performance across relevant lifecycle and campaign metrics.
Track metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, revenue, and SMS opt-out rates.
Evaluate the health and effectiveness of automated lifecycle flows.
Identify opportunities to improve engagement while maintaining healthy opt-out rates.
Provide clear, data-backed recommendations for future Email and SMS initiatives.
Own the setup and ongoing maintenance of UTM parameters.
Maintain conversion events, pixels, and other campaign tracking requirements.
Conduct regular attribution checks to ensure reliable performance data.
Understand the tradeoffs between different attribution approaches when evaluating campaign performance.
Maintain tracking hygiene across paid media, Email, SMS, and other relevant channels.
Troubleshoot measurement issues that could impact reporting or optimization decisions.
Deliver clear and concise weekly performance reports.
Report on paid media, Email, SMS, testing, and conversion performance.
Highlight key metrics, campaign results, testing learnings, and actionable next steps.
Translate performance data into recommendations for the marketing team and leadership.
Use reporting to support decisions around strategy, budget allocation, scaling, and optimization.
Partner with Content and Social teams to identify creative needs for paid campaigns.
Source and brief creative assets required for promotions and acquisition initiatives.
Communicate performance insights that can inform future creative development.
Collaborate on offers, messaging, and campaign concepts.
Ensure creative development supports testing and performance marketing objectives.
4+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience managing SEM and/or paid social campaigns.
Experience building, launching, optimizing, and scaling paid acquisition campaigns.
Proven experience managing marketing budgets and working toward CPA, CAC, and conversion rate goals.
Experience designing and executing structured A/B tests across campaign elements and landing pages.
Experience managing or supporting Email and SMS campaigns and automated lifecycle flows.
Experience within e-commerce, marketplace, subscription, or lead generation environments is strongly preferred.
Experience managing Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, retargeting, or similar paid acquisition platforms.
Experience with digital measurement, tracking, and attribution.
Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
Strong understanding of performance marketing, customer acquisition, and paid media optimization.
Hands-on knowledge of SEM, paid social, and retargeting strategies.
Strong budget pacing and allocation skills with the ability to make data-backed scaling decisions.
Ability to evaluate CPA, CAC, conversion rates, and other acquisition metrics.
Strong understanding of Email and SMS lifecycle marketing fundamentals.
Ability to manage and optimize automated lifecycle flows such as Welcome, Abandoned Cart/Checkout, Post-Purchase, and Winback/Sunset sequences.
Strong understanding of SMS messaging, frequency, engagement, and opt-out considerations.
Experience with structured A/B testing across creative, audiences, keywords, offers, and landing pages.
Strong understanding of conversion rate optimization and landing page testing.
Practical knowledge of UTM parameters, conversion events, pixels, and attribution.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data into actionable recommendations.
Proficiency with Canva or similar design tools for basic creative asset adjustments.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently own execution from start to finish.
Comfortable operating in a small, fast-moving environment while managing multiple performance channels.
CPA and CAC efficiency consistently improve through disciplined campaign optimization and testing.
Conversion rates improve through structured CRO and landing page experimentation.
Paid media budgets are managed effectively and scaled based on reliable performance data.
Google Ads, paid social, and retargeting campaigns consistently contribute to acquisition and revenue goals.
Core Email and SMS flows remain healthy, optimized, and effective at supporting customer lifetime value.
SMS engagement remains strong while maintaining healthy opt-out rates.
Campaign tracking, UTMs, conversion events, and attribution remain accurate and reliable.
Weekly reporting provides leadership with clear insights and actionable recommendations.
Testing results consistently inform future campaign, creative, audience, and landing page decisions.
The marketing team can rely on this role to independently own performance marketing execution and optimization.
