The Associate, Performance Management Operations supports the execution, administration, and continuous improvement of the firm’s performance management processes and systems across the U.S. and India. This role serves as a key operational partner responsible for supporting day-to-day system administration, reporting, process coordination, and operational execution related to the firm’s performance management ecosystem.
This role will develop deep expertise in the BetterWorks platform and related processes to help ensure operational continuity, process consistency, and a high-quality user experience. The position plays a critical role in supporting reporting, data integrity, process administration, system support, and ongoing enhancements as the organization continues to mature its performance management approach.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Management Operations & Administration
• Support the day-to-day administration of the BetterWorks performance management platform and related processes
• Manage employee updates, access requests, workflow administration, form updates, and routine system maintenance
• Monitor and manage team support channels and requests, ensuring timely follow-up, issue resolution, and escalation when appropriate
• Conduct routine system health checks and identify operational issues, risks, or process gaps
• Coordinate and support cyclical and annual performance management processes and activities
• Maintain process documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge resources to support consistent execution
• Develop strong expertise in the BetterWorks platform to serve as a key operational resource and system expert for the team
Reporting, Data & Process Support
• Run, validate, analyze, and distribute standard and ad hoc reports related to performance management activities and metrics
• Support data integrity, reporting accuracy, and process consistency across performance management operations
• Identify recurring support trends, operational challenges, and process improvement opportunities
• Leverage data and operational insights to support recommendations, reporting needs, and continuous improvement efforts
• Conduct data analysis to identify patterns, risks, and insights that support operational decision-making and program effectiveness
• Assist with testing, validation, release readiness, and user acceptance testing activities for system enhancements and updates
• Partner with internal stakeholders to support the accurate and effective execution of performance management programs and initiatives
• Draft and maintain user support materials, knowledge articles, quick reference guides, and operational resources
• Support testing, validation, and continuous improvement activities related to AI-enabled tools and agents within performance management processes
Skills and Capabilities
• Strong operational and organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute consistently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience interpreting and working with operational and performance-related data
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong experience with data analysis, reporting, and process administration
• Ability to identify operational issues and proactively recommend improvements
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience working with large datasets, formulas, reporting, and data analysis
• Comfort learning and working within HR technology platforms and systems
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes, including AI-enabled tools
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, Operations, Analytics, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience supporting HR operations, talent processes, reporting, systems administration, or related operational roles
• Experience supporting performance management or talent management processes preferred
• Experience working with HR systems, reporting tools, or talent platforms preferred
• Experience in a professional services or matrixed environment is a plus
