Job Objective:

Serves as a strategic analytics partner within the Ambulatory Division. Responsible for healthcare quality analytics, Ambulatory Division reporting infrastructure, regulatory metric data oversight, and executive-level reporting. Leads complex analytic initiatives that support Ambulatory Division strategic priorities, regulatory compliance, value-based care performance, and operational transformation. Functions as a subject matter expert in healthcare quality metrics and reporting frameworks and partners directly with executive leadership, clinical leaders, operational teams, and Business Analytics to translate data into sustainable, measurable improvement.

Education:

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Nursing, Business, Data Analytics, or related field


Licensure/Certification:

Preferred: Epic certification; Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certified Business Intelligence Analyst (CBIA), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt


Experience:
Required: Five (5) years of experience in healthcare quality improvement, performance improvement, business intelligence/data and analytics, or regulatory reporting in an acute care setting

Preferred: Experience with data extraction and healthcare data warehousing

Essential Responsibilities

1. Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.

2. Partners with other Ambulatory departments on the interpretation, validation, and reporting of data required for quality programs, payor metrics, and regulatory agencies, ensuring accurate data extraction, measure calculation, and compliant submissions.

3. Partners with the Ambulatory Project Managers in the evaluation and improvement of outpatient workflows, ensuring alignment with clinical, administrative, and organizational priorities.

4. Develops and delivers advanced data analyses and visualizations using tools such as Power BI and Tableau to support decision‑making across operational, financial, and clinical domains.

5. Partners with Business Analytics on data extraction, transformation, and integration processes, leveraging healthcare data warehousing environments to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

6. Prepares and presents executive‑level reports, dashboards, insights, and recommendations, translating complex analytical findings into clear, actionable strategies for leadership.

7. Influences and engages key stakeholders across clinical and administrative areas to drive adoption, support change initiatives, and advance organizational performance improvement goals through the use of data.

8. Communicates with team members and participates in appropriate committees to report process-outcome information.

9. Provides education to customers regarding reports, specific data elements and other issues as identified.

10. Supports Root Cause Analysis process as requested.

11. Performs other duties as assigned.
