Job purpose
In performance marketing, you will work with our marcomms team to support the business, including working with the BD, Engagement and Innovation teams to ensure that marketing is providing a funnel to support ongoing engagement. You will work alongside the demand generation function to continuously monitor where prospects engage, and to devise the most effective strategies for improving engagement performance to support goals.
It is imperative that within this role you keep abreast of developments in performance marketing channels such as SEO/ SEM and adopt new strategies to support the function. You will develop, implement and optimise performance marketing strategies for our company to help reach and connect with our target audience. This will include outbound and inbound campaign development, A/B testing, content creation, scheduling, segmentation, delivery and performance analysis to drive conversions and foster strong relationships with our prospects. You will also study data insights to optimise campaigns, improve engagement and drive measurable results.
It is important to have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of channels optimisation. By analysing user behaviour and search behaviour trends specific to the target market, you should develop strategies to increase organic and paid traffic and drive targeted visitors to the website. This role also comprises developing link-building strategies and managing backlink profiles to improve the website’s authority and credibility.
This is a hybrid role which can be based at any of our hubs: Newport (Midlands), Oxford, York, Edinburgh.
· Identify best channels for optimal performance, be they paid or organic. You will have responsibility for the overall performance of digital channels, both organic and paid, to reach potential customers and drive business growth.
· Build overall campaign strategy to attract key audiences into UKATC, including:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.
· 2+ years of demonstrable experience as a performance marketer or in digital marketing.
· Strong understanding of digital performance marketing principles, strategies and best practices.
· Knowledge of SEO, SEM and other digital marketing channels.
· Familiarity with performance marketing metrics and related KPIs.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
· Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Strong track record of project management, both a starter and a finisher.
· Familiarity with tracking and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics.
· Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
· Experience in managing and keeping within corporate budgets for campaigns.
· The ability to work under pressure and achieve deadlines.
· Flexibility to achieve the goal, and excellent time management and planning.
· Webpage authoring and editing skills.
· Line management experience.
