The Middle Office Team in Hungary is growing and is seeking professionals across a range of experience levels to support its expanding activities. The team offers opportunities for candidates with varying levels of industry knowledge and expertise, with responsibilities tailored to individual experience and capabilities. The Performance Analyst role provides exposure to the performance measurement process, including performance attribution, benchmark and portfolio analytics, and reporting within a collaborative global environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Calculate and validate portfolio and composite performance across multiple asset classes and investment strategies
  • Produce and review attribution reports and other performance outputs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with controls and procedures
  • Investigate and resolve performance calculation, benchmark, and attribution-related discrepancies and support responses to client and stakeholder inquiries
  • Collaborate with internal teams and business partners to support operational excellence and service delivery
  • Analyze exceptions and operational challenges, escalating complex issues when appropriate
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and help identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and controls
  • Share knowledge and best practices within the team and, where applicable, support onboarding and training activities
  • Support projects, business initiatives, and other team priorities as required

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience for entry-level positions, with additional opportunities available for more experienced candidates (2-8 years)
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field is preferred
  • Interest in financial markets, investment products, and performance measurement
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of financial services, fund services, investment operations, or related processes is an advantage
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, CIPM, or progress toward obtaining them are considered an advantage
