Job Description

In this role, you'll:


Work within our Future Operations Team within the Operations Management Branch of the Coordinator General division at Transport for NSW, with a focus on analyses and translating operational data into accurate, timely and actionable performance insights to support evidence-based decision making across operational teams.

This role will see you managing competing priorities and timeframes while responding to multiple requests for performance information from operational stakeholders.

This will include managing data sets and data updates and developing and maintaining performance reports, dashboards and visualisations that clearly communicate trends, issues and opportunities to operational and management stakeholders.

You will be ensuring data accuracy, consistency and relevance when analysing and reporting across multiple operational data systems with varying levels of maturity.

About you


Your professional experience will see you bringing Advanced Excel, data analytics, scripting, reporting and visualisation tools skills, ideally withing an operational business environment.

You’re recognised for your critical thinking skills and ability to be flexible to deal with Ad-hoc requests as well as creating technical information for a non-technical audience.

In addition to this, you see yourself as a business improvement analyst who can think independently and critically.

This is an Award Transport Grade 7 Permanent Full-Time role based in Eveleigh Transport Management Centre (TMC). The role will also consider candidates based in Newcastle or Wollongong able to come to Eveleigh when required with flexibility through our cutting-edge hybrid working model!.
