Travel is part of this position, but the frequency may vary based on client, team, and individual circumstances.

What you’ll do

Our Performance Advisory team works with healthy, under-performing and distressed companies across a variety of urgent, high impact situations. We help our clients adapt and thrive during a period of immense pressure in the industry. From day one, you will get a chance to deliver real impact and work with clients when it really matters

The Performance Advisory team help clients deliver significant improvement in business performance and enterprise value across all subsectors.

As a Senior Vice President in our Performance Advisory team, you will lead complex, high-stakes engagements that deliver rapid, tangible results across the value chain.

Working closely with senior client stakeholders and private equity sponsors, you will take ownership of diagnosing critical challenges, shaping data-driven strategies, and driving hands-on implementation to improve financial performance, operational efficiency and enterprise value. You will bring deep expertise in specific areas, for example sourcing strategy, cost optimisation, growth acceleration, digital transformation and organisational effectiveness (among others).

Drawing on your consulting and industry experience, you will lead workstreams, mentor junior colleagues and act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, delivering solutions that are both analytically rigorous and operationally executable. In parallel, you’ll contribute to practice development through thought leadership, client relationship building and support in the pursuit of new business opportunities.

This is a full time Senior Vice President position. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

What you’ll need

  • 10+ years of professional experience.
  • 2+ years of consulting experience in a professional services firm environment preferred.
  • Recognised for deep skills and passion as a specialist in specific industries/service(s) area(s), within one or several of the following:
    • Consumer Products and Retail
    • Restaurants, Hospitality, Travel and Leisure
    • Mining and Energy
    • Industrials and Operations
  • Specific delivery experience or credentials suitable for your industry of expertise (see examples at the end of this job description).
  • Experienced with leading and managing complex work streams and projects.
  • High energy style, flexible and adaptive, with the ability to work well in a very fast paced environment.
  • As we grow our office and business in Australia, the role focus heavily on business development as well as delivery, requiring adaptability and openness to varied, evolving responsibilities each day.
  • Financial modelling capability to assess impact (e.g., sourcing and operational impact on profitability, forecast sales or optimise inventory)
  • Demonstrable track record in achieving implementation oriented, qualitative solutions in multiple workstreams.
  • Deep understanding of business issues and the ability to communicate them effectively to team leaders and clients.
  • Willingness to build professional and personal growth by working in high-impact situations under time-pressure.
  • True passion for achieving ambitious results.
  • Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills along with strong financial literacy and modelling.
  • Strong interest in your area of expertise with flexibility to contribute across other industries as opportunities arise.
  • A contributor to / participant in industry events / conferences.
  • Excellent relationship management with c-suite stakeholders while achieving results.
  • Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and executive-level presentation skills.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Willingness to travel, sometimes at short notice.
  • Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, and in particular as unique projects/needs arise.

Education Requirements

  • Master’s degree and / or an MBA, and evidence of a strong academic record.
  • A degree in Business, Finance or Engineering is preferable but not essential.
