The Perfect Store Specialist drives execution excellence at the point of purchase across the Greek market, driving MDLZ strategic direction to have “Best in class in store implementation”. The role bridges strategy and in-store execution — translating category and brand priorities into flawless retail execution that maximizes shopper conversion. The specialist leverages data, digital tools, and cross-functional partnerships to support the delivery of company goals

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Define and revise the Picture of Success (PoS) per channel (OT & TT), customer, and store format, including shelf-share targets.
  • Develop and update category planograms and space management standards; ensure NPD launch and range-change excellence at shelf.
  • Translate shopper insights and category strategy into actionable in-store execution standards — primary shelf, secondary placements, and Hot Zone.
  • Design and deploy Sales Programs (tactical activations) that drive incremental volume through customer and shopper-centric mechanics.
  • Communicate Sales Programs and execution standards clearly to the field sales force; equip teams with tools, guidelines
  • Track channel, customer, and category execution performance and identify reporting gaps and drive continuous improvement in execution tracking and field reporting workflows.

  • Define, track, and report Perfect Store KPIs per channel and customer: MSL Compliance, Shelf Presence, Share of Shelf (SoS), Leaflet Compliance, and Share of Voice (SoV).
  • Monitor NPD in-market performance and measure execution quality vs. targets; report gaps and develop action plans.
  • Leverage Nielsen / Pockee reports and internal data to analyze distribution status, competitive dynamics, and shelf performance.
  • Track and evaluate Sales Programs performance post-implementation; integrate learnings into future planning cycles.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.

Experience

  • 3–5 years experience in FMCG commercial roles (Sales, Trade Marketing, or Category Management).
  • Experience working with retailers and field sales teams.
  • Hands-on experience with data analytics.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel / Google Workspace skills; high digital literacy for adopting new platforms rapidly.
  • Proficiency with data tools (Nielsen) and advanced Excel competencies
  • Strong analytical capability — able to translate data into clear, actionable plans.
