PAY RANGE

$19.79-21.60/Hour

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Current Maine CHRC (Active fingerprints with Dept. of Education or ability to obtain)
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required
• Pass a criminal background check and pre-employment physical

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean assigned areas of the school, including classrooms, hallways, bathrooms, and common areas
• Vacuums and cleans floors
• Removes trash
• Maintains outside areas of the school during winter months as needed
• Works cooperatively with the head custodian and coworkers

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Required to have prompt, regular attendance for scheduled hours
• Must be able to work on your feet for several hours a day and lift up to 50lbs as needed

Hearing: Ability to tolerate exposure to noisy conditions
Environmental Requirements: High dust, dirt environment. Regular exposure to moving machinery and/or vehicles. Regular exposure to weather including heat, cold, dampness and/or humidity.
Other Requirements: Ability to understand and follow verbal or basic written instructions. Ability to learn and apply safety procedures and standards.
